Mount Juliet, TN — April 28, 2016Optoro®, the leading platform for returned and excess inventory, today announced the opening of a new warehouse facility in Wilson County, Tennessee. Optoro’s CEO Tobin Moore and President Adam Vitarello, and the Mayor of Lebanon, Philip Craighead, will celebrate the opening of the facility at a ribbon cutting ceremony this evening.

Increasing demand for Optoro’s platform led to the need for the new warehouse facility. The 301,000 square foot facility will be Optoro’s primary distribution hub for the Southeast region and will serve customers across the United States and abroad. Optoro plans to create approximately 300 new jobs in Wilson County to operate the facility.

“As Optoro has continued to expand, we identified the need for a new Southeast operations hub to support our managed services offering for clients in the region,” said Moore.  “After looking at five different states, we chose Tennessee, and the Nashville area specifically, for the access to high-caliber talent and transportation channels.”

Optoro works with many of the top retailers and manufacturers in the United States to manage and support their reverse logistics processes. Optoro’s software enables its clients to process, sort and sell returned and excess inventory in a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly way across multiple channels.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Optoro to Tennessee,” said Mayor Philip Craighead. “The facility will not only bring jobs to Wilson County, but will also showcase the benefits of our region for thriving, innovative companies like Optoro. The talent and opportunities we provide are valuable to companies of all shapes and sizes, and we look forward to helping Optoro expand its Southeast operations with this new facility in Tennessee.”
