General Manager, Returns Experience & Data
Mike leverages his deep experience in machine learning and retail technology to help build innovative software products that benefit retailers and the planet.
Mike wears many different hats at Optoro, including leading the Returns Experience product as well as acting as Head of Data & Analytics. In both roles, Mike is responsible for taking stock of the retail sector’s needs and working with his teams of product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and designers to bring to market uniquely impactful solutions. These solutions take on many shapes and sizes, from straightforward design changes or reporting updates, to whole product features or intricate machine learning apparatuses.
Prior to joining Optoro, Mike led analytics and data science engagements at Applied Predictive Technologies, a DC-area tech firm acquired by Mastercard. In that role he helped Fortune 500 companies in the financial services space design, implement, measure, and forecast out the impact of business experiments.
Mike holds a B.S.E in Systems Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of Optoro, Mike can be found on long walks through Rock Creek Park, catching a basketball game at Capital One Arena, or trying to get a seat at one of DC’s newest restaurants.
