Volunteer Hours – Pledge 1%
We believe that all our employees should get involved in causes they care about. So, we offer everyone the flexibility to take time out of the workday and make it happen. We also participate in Pledge 1% – a global movement that inspires, educates, and empowers companies and employees to be a force for good by spending 1% of their time each year volunteering. We’re proud to take part in this initiative knowing that a small portion of our time today can have an enormous impact tomorrow.

Perks for Parks
Preserving the environment is core to our mission of making retail more sustainable. So, we encourage our employees to step back and not only appreciate, but work to conserve one of our nation’s treasures: our parks! Through our Perks for Parks program, Optoro donates $25 to the National Parks Conservation Association for every visit an employee takes to a national park. We simply ask employees to post a photo after their visit to national parks on this list. If more than one Optorian visits a park, we will make a donation on behalf of each Optorian – all the more reason to get employees exploring everything nature has to offer!
